Engineering from silicon
to planet scale.
A decade across the full systems spectrum: privacy-preserving digital credentials and payment rails touching half a billion daily lives, zero-trust topologies for Fortune 500 boards, and publications on verifiable multi-agent workflows.
Nothing I know arrived by plan. It started as a hunch, then taking the back off something to see if the hunch held: a pocket radio at ten, a phone kernel at sixteen, a service mesh at twenty-two, a payment rail at twenty-five. The experiments got more expensive; the method never changed.
I've sat on every side of the table.
Arrived through the Apigee acquisition and stayed. then two consumer platforms at planet scale: the payment rails, and the credentials that ride on top of them.
Built the first credential infrastructure to ship in Google Wallet: hardware-bound mobile driver’s licences in the US, and Aadhaar Verifiable Credentials in India, where I was primary architect. Selective disclosure is cryptographic, so an issuer cannot track where a credential is presented. Collaborator on NIST SP 1800-42A.
Transaction pipelines reaching over half a billion people: nation-scale UPI rails, the Spot platform, Tap & Pay and international remittances, all with strict consistency and end-to-end tokenisation.
Architecture for 50+ Fortune 500 enterprises, C-level strategy down to implementation teams. Led APAC go-to-market for API security and management, driving millions in ARR, and built the remote diagnostics that cut enterprise troubleshooting time by 25%.
Graduated B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM and was named Best Student of the Batch. Won the Philips Hackathon with Hueber. Named High Impact Open Source Contributor by Web Summit and Collision, and a Top Facilitator for Google’s Applied CS with Android.
Joined Apigee as an engineer at IPO
Shipped the API monitoring product end to end: remote-location monitoring, anomaly alerting, the reporting engine and a distributed load-testing engine. Invited mentor for advanced Android Wear development at Shaastra ’15, IIT Madras.
Technical lead, Google Students Club. Super mentor at GDG Chennai and a speaker on Material Design at Google I/O Extended.
Founded Cepheuen
Two SaaS platforms, commerce and legal practice management, among other experiments for early-stage startups across India, the US and Australia. Won Droidcon India’s Most Innovative App with Infophilia, judged by Adaptxt and Sony, plus the Apigee Apithon.
Gold medallist, International Informatics Olympiad. State 3rd prize, ABK AOTS DOSOKAI painting competition.
Senior modder & global moderator, DarkForest Group
One of the leading forums for Symbian, S60 and S40 phone development. Moderated the primary global boards, authored the headphone-bypass FM radio patch, and led the effort to port the Android kernel to the Samsung s5620 in C and Assembly.
Took apart pocket radios and wristwatches, then built physical pick-and-place robots to sort objects.
I've shipped at every layer of the stack.
Most engineers pick a layer and stay there. Mine has moved across all three over different products. Android client platforms first, then service mesh and API management, and now the hardware-backed keystores behind digital credentials.
